Information and Privacy Commissioner of Nova Scotia Tricia Ralph submitted to a provincial government working group her office's recommendations for reforming Nova Scotia's Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. Ralph said the act has "fallen behind in comparison with its counterparts" and it is "long past time" to modernize. On privacy, Ralph added any reform must reflect how "privacy and innovation should go hand in hand."
