European Commission Vice President for Values and Transparency Věra Jourová said she sees "convergence" in how Japan and the European Union "look at (artificial intelligence) and generative AI," Reuters reports. Jourová said she was recently in Japan and could discuss the technology "with our Japanese partners because we do not have to explain to each other basic, basic things."
