Air India announced it was hit by a data breach affecting the personal data of 4.5 million passengers, Reuters reports. The airline revealed a cyberattack took place at the end of March that affected systems carrying nearly 10 years' worth of passenger data. The breach involved passenger names, contact and passport information, and details on tickets and credit cards. "Our data processor (SITA) has ensured that no abnormal activity was observed after securing the compromised servers," the airline said in a statement.
