Global law firm Dentons is separating from its Chinese partner Dacheng Law Offices, the Associated Press reports. Dentons cited cybersecurity and data protection changes as reason for the separation, but gave no further details. WilmerHale Partner Lester Ross said Dacheng Law Offices were part of an integrated international network, which could conflict with China's Personal Information Protection Law by giving foreign firms access to data.
