Compliance platform SafeGuard Privacy announced it raised $7 million in funding led by venture capital firm TechOperators. The software as a service-based platform “allows publishers, agencies, brands, data providers, and tech platforms to assess, audit, and comply with global privacy compliance laws and requirements.” With the introduction of data privacy legislation in 33 U.S. states and 76% of countries globally, company officials said the business climate requires enterprise-level compliance.
