Genetic testing company 23andMe sent an email to several customers informing them a feature allowing them to compare ancestry information with other users was the target of a data breach, Reuters reports. The company's email served as a notice to an undisclosed number of customers that the genetic information they provided in their "DNA Relatives" account was linked to at least one of DNA Relatives accounts that was hacked by the threat actor.
