European Parliament announced its vote to approve the proposed Data Governance Act. The legislation aims to give companies and startups better access to more data for the purpose of developing new products and services. "Data only has value if it is aggregated, refined and used in the right way," German Member of European Parliament Angelika Niebler said, also noting how the DGA can establish trusted data use among businesses and individuals.
