The European Commission recently published its “Ethical Guidelines on the Use of Artificial Intelligence” in educational settings. The guidance intends to “address how AI is used in schools, to support teachers and students in their teaching and learning, and to support administrative tasks in educational settings” as part of the Digital Education Action Plan for 2021-2027. Objectives include clarifying “misconceptions” about the use of AI and ethical considerations of its use “by offering practical advice to educators.”
