Bloomberg reports Privacy International and Max Schrems' NOYB filed complaints to European data protection authorities regarding alleged data scraping by Clearview AI. The groups sent filings to DPAs in Austria, France, Greece, Italy and the U.K. Privacy International Legal Officer Ioannis Kouvakas said in a joint statement Clearview's work "goes far beyond what we could ever expect as online users." Clearview claimed it "has never had any contracts with any EU customer and is not currently available to EU customers."
