Politico reports U.K. Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology Michelle Donelan refuted a reported pause on consideration of the proposed Data Protection and Digital Information Bill. Donelan said the proposal is set to be reintroduced to the U.K. House of Commons the week of March 6. The news comes after Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology Paul Scully said the bill was unlikely to return during the current parliamentary session.
