Delta Air Lines and TSA PreCheck are piloting a program that uses biometrics to let passengers drop their bags, TechCrunch reports. Passengers who opt-in to the program scan their face to validate their identity, a machine will print their baggage label, and an automated machine weighs the bag and uses cameras to check its size.
