Delta Air Lines and TSA PreCheck are piloting a program that uses biometrics to let passengers drop their bags, TechCrunch reports. The program is currently only available in Atlanta for Delta’s SkyMiles frequent flier program members registered for TSA pre-check. Passengers who opt-in to the program scan their face to validate their identity, a machine will print their baggage label, and an automated machine weighs the bag and uses cameras to check its size.
