A March 15 breach compromised data of more than 1 million customers of Iberdrola, the Spanish energy company that owns Scottish Power, InfoSecurity Magazine reports. Customer ID numbers, home and e-mail addresses, and phone numbers were accessed, though the breach did not compromise bank account or credit card numbers. The company said the breach was remediated within a day and further attempts to access its data were unsuccessful.
