France's data protection authority, the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés, fined data broker Tagadamedia 75,000 euros for allegedly violating the EU General Data Protection Regulation. The CNIL said an investigation found the company collected data without consent due to the "misleading appearance" of its online forms.
