Chinese company Sangfor Technologies has drawn scrutiny for its AI program that can predict if an employee is about to leave their job, South China Morning Post reports. The program can spy on an employee’s browsing activity, such as viewing job posts and sending application emails. The program came to light after a user on Maimai.cn, a professional networking application, claimed he was fired when his company discovered, using a monitoring system, he was applying to other jobs.
