With the release of its iOS 14.5 operating system, Apple has begun to enforce its App Tracking Transparency framework, The New York Times reports. Applications will be required to offer users an option to either accept or decline to have their information shared with third parties. The Financial Times reports a group of nine German industry organizations filed a complaint with the country's competition regulator, the Bundeskartellamt, accusing Apple of antitrust violations tied to the ATT framework.
