The U.S. Office of Science and Technology Policy filed a request for information on public and private use of artificial intelligence-based biometric technologies. More specifically, the office said it is seeking feedback on the use and deployment of technologies in relation to identity verification and detecting emotional or mental states. The comment deadline is Jan. 15, 2022.
