If you don't know him personally, you probably know the name Mike Hintze, FIP, CIPM, CIPP/C, CIPP/E, CIPP/G, CIPP/US, CIPT. He was chief privacy counsel at Microsoft for 18 years. But he's since moved on to private practice in Seattle, Washington, working alongside his wife, Susan Lyon-Hintze, CIPP/US, at their boutique firm, Hintze Law. In this episode of the podcast, Hintze talks about his experiences working for the tech giant, why he decided it was time to go, and what he plans to get out of taking on this completely new chapter in his career.
