The New Zealand government is seeking qualified applicants interested in being considered for the role of privacy commissioner, following John Edwards’ appointment as U.K. Information Commissioner. The Office of the Privacy Commissioner “administers the Privacy Act 2020 and has an advisory, educational, investigative, and dispute resolution role in promoting and protecting individual privacy in New Zealand, and powers of enforcement and compliance,” a release said. Applications will be accepted until Nov. 26.
