The Netherlands' data protection authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, issued a warning to the Dutch government over its planned sex worker registry. Proposed legislation would require workers to submit personal data and call on workers' employers to order the submissions as well. The AP said while the government's intent is to curb human trafficking, the bill will likely create unsafe work conditions over "fear of registration and loss of privacy."
