European Commission Vice President for Values and Transparency Věra Jourová said "paranoia" around artificial intelligence technologies shouldn't cloud the definition of high-risk AI in the proposed AI Act. As EU institutions wrapped their latest trilogue negotiation toward finalizing the AI Act, Jourová said there should always be a "solid analysis" of risks and businesses should adopt a "dynamic process" for assessing current and future technologies.
