In the wake of Russia’s attack on Ukraine, the IAPP contacted all Ukrainian members and offered support in any capacity, waived membership fees, deferred trainings and testing and more. The IAPP also suspended all services in Russia and Belarus. With the Global Privacy Summit set for next week, the IAPP now asks the privacy community to contribute to a charitable foundation that is making a big difference in Ukraine: the World Central Kitchen. The IAPP will donate $10 for every Summit attendee and IAPP employee, and the IAPP challenges attendees, sponsors and exhibitors to donate what they can. IAPP President and CEO J. Trevor Hughes, CIPP, will make this ask again on the keynote stage at the Global Privacy Summit. To donate on behalf of the privacy community, please use this link: wck.org/IAPP.
