The Netherlands' data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, said it will focus more on how websites ask for permission to track internet activity with cookie banners. The AP will check to make sure websites are not using misleading cookie notifications or making it more difficult for users to understand when they are giving consent for tracking.
