13:30 - 14:30 AEDT

Intermediate level

BREAKOUT SESSIONPRIVACYETHICSPROGRAM MANAGEMENTRISK MANAGEMENTSTRATEGY AND GOVERNANCETESTING AND EVALUATION

In this lighthearted, role-playing session, the audience will hone their risk assessment skills by examining future tech that is only a fantasy — so far. Delegates will beam on board the Starship Enterprise to help the newly assigned ship's privacy officers as they conduct long overdue privacy impact assessments. Does combadge location tracking have an opt-out? Is there a privacy notice hanging in sickbay for patients waiting on their molecular scans? And who signed off on the holodeck's interactive 3D simulator of real people? Accept this away mission to explore these questions and more.

What you will learn:

• How to connect with colleagues in a lighthearted, interactive peer-learning exercise.

• Development of a strategy to creatively approach PIAs with new technologies.

• PIA best practices to build the utopia of tomorrow in your operation.
