Friday, 4 Dec.

BREAKOUT SESSIONPRIVACYFRAMEWORKS AND STANDARDSPROGRAM MANAGEMENTSTRATEGY AND GOVERNANCEADVERTISING AND MARKETINGLEGALRETAILTECHNOLOGY

This session examines how Fisher & Paykel Appliances built and scaled privacy across a global business. The panel will discuss how they went from a cross-functional working group in 2021 to a living network of more than 70 people across seven business units, continuously delivering privacy projects, conducting PIAs, handling DSARs and building privacy capability across the enterprise. Panelists will address how privacy and IT built a collaborative working relationship, how ownership between privacy and legal was established, and what made the difference between a program that launched and one that lasted.

What you will learn:

• A real-world, practitioner-led model for building, scaling and embedding a privacy program across a global business, from a working group to broad network.

• How to structure working relationships between privacy, legal and IT to manage privacy risk.

• A practical, transferable framework attendees can apply to their operation regardless of size, sector, or where they are in their privacy journey.
