Zoom published its Bug Bounty Program’s 2021 year-in-review report. The company offered the bounty program through HackerOne’s platform, where Zoom has recruited more than 800 security researchers. In 2021, Zoom awarded more than $1.8 million to researchers who submitted a total of 401 reports. Zoom awarded more than $2.4 million in bounty payments since the program began. The bug program is invitation-only, so Zoom and other companies can hand-pick researchers based on their prior work.
