The White House will hold a meeting with officials from several consumer protection enforcement agencies to discuss "harmful data broker practices" as part of the Biden administration's push to better protect U.S. citizens' privacy, CyberScoop reports. Meanwhile, the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau will issue new rules to expand the number of data brokers subject to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Reuters reports.
