The White House's National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee issued a report calling for enhanced economic incentives to be offered to critical cyber infrastructure providers to increase their security standards, CyberScoop reports. The report highlighted that market forces alone would be "insufficient" to compel private entities to improve their cybersecurity postures.
