The discussion covered a range of topics within the ransomware discussion, including cybersecurity measures, tactics for disrupting cyberattacks, virtual currency and general diplomacy. A White House spokesperson said the U.S. has worked with allies to "hold nation states accountable for malicious cyberactivity," adding that collaboration and unity has produced positive results in recent months.
