Vodafone officials are investigating data breach claims made by the same hacking group that recently targeted Samsung, CNBC reports. On March 7, the hacking group Lapsus$ asked subscribers on the Telegram application what they should leak next. As of March 10, Vodafone led the options with 56% of the vote. The other options were the source code of a Portuguese media company and two Argentine e-commerce companies. A Vodafone spokesperson confirmed to CNBC the company was aware of Lapsus$’s claims.
