Virginia and Oklahoma have become the latest U.S. states to propose privacy legislation, according to Husch Blackwell’s Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Legal Resource Byte Back. The bills were proposed after state Legislatures in Minnesota and New York unveiled their own sets of privacy laws. Editor's note: IAPP Staff Writer Jennifer Bryant covered a hearing on the latest iteration of the Washington Privacy Act for The Privacy Advisor.
