Utah's Senate Bill 200, the Consumer Privacy Act, failed to get a third Senate floor reading on the final day it was able to pass the chamber. The bill was circled by sponsoring State Sen. Kirk Cullimore, R-Utah, Feb. 26 after passing each of its first two readings. A substitute bill and fiscal note were distributed in the days following, but the bill was not read again. The Utah legislative session ends March 5; however, Senate President J. Stuart Adams said March 2 was the last day Senate bills could be moved.
