U.S. Senator Ron Wyden, D-Ore., wrote a letter to President Joe Biden urging the administration to strengthen cybersecurity safeguards following claims U.S. citizens are being tracked through mobile phone carriers, Bloomberg reports. Wyden claimed telecommunications protocol Signaling System 7 has cybersecurity flaws that are "threatening US national security, freedom of the press and international human rights."
