U.S. President Joe Biden signed legislation within an omnibus foreign aid package that could ban TikTok if ByteDance does not sell the social media platform within nine months, The Washington Post reports. The legislative package also includes the Protecting Americans' Data from Foreign Adversaries Act, which will prohibit data brokers from sharing and transferring sensitive personal data with foreign adversaries.
