U.K. Department for Science, Innovation and Technology Secretary of State Michelle Donelan sent a letter to the Information Commissioner's Office requesting an update on the ICO's artificial intelligence strategy. Donelan said organizations are looking for "transparency regarding the steps regulators are taking to understand both the opportunities and the risks this creates, and the actions they are taking in response."
