University of California Berkley professor Deirdre Mulligan accepted a position at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. In her new role, she will serve as the Deputy U.S. Chief Technology Officer for Policy. As part of her work, Mulligan will assist the Office of the U.S. Chief Technology Officer and as principal advisor to the National Artificial Intelligence Initiative Office.
