Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the U.S. government is readying for Russian cyberattacks and warning businesses to prepare, Axios reports. The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s Shields Up campaign urges companies to prepare for cyberattacks, including requiring multi-factor authentication and implementing ways to detect an attack. But Reed Smith Partner Gerard Stegmaier said, “it’s too early to tell” whether the program will work well “and whether it materially contributes to an improved security posture of the company or organization.”
