Brazil's Digital Government Secretariat released a new platform of resources to help promote and ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Law across government agencies, ZDNet reports. The system allows for risk assessment, including security or privacy gaps, in agencies' databases, contracts and data-processing activities. "The (LGPD) requires much more transparency and adequate management of citizens' data than the federal government agencies (previously) had to deal with for public policies," Ministry of Economy Digital Government Secretary Luis Felipe Monteiro said.
