Tinder will introduce a tool to allow users to run their new match through a background check before they go on a date, The Wall Street Journal reports. The company announced an investment in Garbo Technology, a nonprofit background check organization. Tinder users can tap a feature in the application’s safety center and then will be directed by Garbo to fill information about themselves and their match. Garbo can produce arrest records and convictions for certain crimes.
