TikTok filed with the U.S. District Court for the District of Montana to have a Montana law banning the social media platform from the state blocked by 1 Jan. 2024, Reuters reports. TikTok is seeking to have its case decided before the law's effective date at the start of the year, when the platform would be vulnerable to a USD10,000 fine for each in-state use of the app.
