South Korea's Personal Information Protection Commission will begin its regulatory program concerning artificial intelligence 13 Oct. The pilot for the PIPC's "Prior Appropriateness Review System" will promote "safe use of data" and "trust in personal information by preemptively and preventatively checking" technologies' data collection practices for compliance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
