South Korea's Personal Information Protection Commission announced the formation of an Artificial Intelligence Privacy Team. The new group will focus on devising "principles to be followed in an artificial intelligence environment rather than focusing on existing regulations." The PIPC's new "'principle-centered' discipline system" will be explored through the team while it remains focused on "resolving the uncertainties that companies may face."
