Singapore's Minister for Communications and Information and Minister-in-Charge of Cybersecurity Josephine Teo delivered her inaugural speech about citizens being prepared for the digital future. To safeguard residents online, Teo said she would introduce legislation to keep online spaces safe, enhance data protection for consumers and businesses, and strengthen the security and resilience of digital infrastructure. New codes of practice would be developed in the areas of child safety, user reporting and review of the Cybersecurity Act.
