The Monetary Authority of Singapore published a review paper on Fairness, Ethics, Accountability, and Transparency Principles that some financial institutions' apply to their use of artificial intelligence and machine learning. MAS examined whether institutions' frameworks around policies and governance adequately meet the fairness principle. Additionally, MAS offered recommendations for implementing principles while noting sectoral work concerning AI "is ongoing and will involve the active participation of various stakeholders."
