Multiple political parties in The Netherlands were found to have illegally inserted tracking cookies on various websites, according to research conducted by the Dutch Broadcasting Foundation. A representative from the Netherlands' data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, said the agency was seeking additional clarification from each of the political parties for their actions.
