Saskatchewan's Information and Privacy Commissioner Ron Kruzeniski said “every employer and professional organization should check with their lawyer” before asking employees if they have received a COVID-19 vaccination, CBC News reports. Kruzeniski said questions surround whether an employer has the authority to ask employees about their vaccination status and if it’s necessary for them to know. The answer is not simple, he said, adding “It’s the argument between keeping the workplace safe and protecting as much of my personal health privacy as is possible.”
