TV data measurement company Samba TV has launched a privacy manager for manufacturers of smart televisions that gives users more control of their personal data, MediaPost reports. Vestel, which manufactures Panasonic, Toshiba and Hitachi, has incorporated the interface into its smart televisions. It is compliant with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework and enables website publishers to inform users of what data is being collected and how it is used.
