A retired Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer said he would not obtain a veteran's license plate in Saskatchewan because he is reluctant to provide the requisite personal information to the Royal Canadian Legion, CTV News reports. The officer said the RCL has a "poor track record" of handling personal information. Recently, another Saskatchewan veteran brought a data breach lawsuit against the RCL and the provincial government alleging the RCL leadership illegally accessed his medical information.
