A ransomware attack disrupted cyber insurance company AXA’s operations in Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong and the Philippines, and exposed certain data, ZDNet reports. Hong Kong’s Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data responded to inquiries about the breach, saying it received a notification from the company and followed up according to established procedures, including determining whether the personal data of Hong Kong customers was involved.
