A proposed bill would ban U.S. law enforcement agencies from buying information from Clearview AI, Motherboard reports. The Fourth Amendment Is Not For Sale Act would also require law enforcement to obtain a warrant before obtaining location information from data brokers. The bill has bipartisan support in the Senate, and Sen. Ron Wyden's, D-Ore., office said a version of the bill will be introduced in the House of Representatives.
