Louisa Specht-Riemenschneider will serve as Germany's Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Tagesspiegel reports. Specht-Riemenschneider teaches data law and technology courses at the University of Bonn, and was previously a member of the federal government's Digital Advisory Board.
